320km south of Halls Creek (WA) near the north eastern shore of Lake Gregory.

Community Store, School (run by Catholic Education Office, primary and secondary, 4 teachers and Principal), Clinic (operated by Mercy Health nurses) with weekly doctor visits and RFDS support.
Golden Eagle mail plane visits Mulan every Wednesday.
